Brufut Beach is farther south along the resort coast, with a more open shoreline and less dense development than Kololi and Kotu.
Its position puts Bijilo Forest Park to the north and Tanji's fishing and birding area farther south, making it a calm coastal base for exploring both.
Sea conditions change. Follow lifeguard flags where posted and ask locally before swimming.
