Bijilo Beach lies south of Kololi beside the quieter Bijilo resort area. The shoreline is less built-up than central Senegambia and sits close to Bijilo Forest Park.
It is a useful base for combining beach time with the forest park, while Tanji and Brufut are farther south along the coast.
Sea conditions change. Follow lifeguard flags where posted and ask locally before swimming.
